La Folie Douce
High altitude restaurant — Avoriaz, France
In 2018, the sixth La Folie Douce establishment opened its doors in Avoriaz 1800, right next to the ski slopes. La Folie Douce’s snow-covered terrace is not only a place to eat, but also a real electro-music stage for skiers, who have come to enjoy the festivities. From restaurant to party venue, the furniture at La Folie Douce is put through its paces.
Based on our Dairi Collection, we redesigned our furniture to suit the needs of La Folie Douce, taking the concepts of stability and resistance a step further.

Furniture strenght
The La Folie Douce concept takes furniture strength and durability to the extreme. On the terrace at an altitude of 1800m, the tables are severely tested by the weather conditions (snow, water, salt, sun), as well as by customers dancing directly on the furniture. Our tables had to be robust, stable and durable. So we designed a made-to-measure foot based on our Dairi Collection, to give users greater stability and safety.
